PunchList Business

Punch list software for teams: one shared list on every phone

When the punch list lives on one person's phone, everyone else works from a forwarded PDF or a screenshot. PunchList Business puts the whole crew on the same projects: each person signs in on their own iPhone, iPad or Android device, captures items with no signal, and everything syncs to the team when they are back online, photos included. Pricing is per seat, and you subscribe on the website without a sales call.

Quick answer

What is punch list software for teams?

Punch list software for teams keeps one shared list of incomplete or defective work that everyone on a crew can add to and close out from their own device. PunchList Business does this on iPhone, iPad and Android with separate sign-ins, offline capture that syncs when back online, owner, admin and member roles, and branded PDF reports, for US$15 per user per month billed annually.

01

What changes when the whole crew shares the list

A team plan is not just a bigger solo app. It changes who can see the list, who can add to it and whose name is on the report.

Everyone works on the same projects

Each person signs in with a work email and a one-time code on their own iPhone, iPad or Android device and sees the firm's team projects. There is no shared account to pass around and no password to forget.

Offline is the normal case

Basements, shells and plant rooms rarely have signal. Every device keeps a full local copy, so the crew keeps capturing; changes sync to everyone else when the device is back online, photos included.

Roles stay simple

Owners and admins manage members, seats and projects. Members capture items, assign them and close them out. That is the whole permission model, so nobody needs training before the first walk.

One letterhead on every report

Whoever generates the PDF, it carries the firm's logo, contact block and accent color, never a watermark. Choose the detailed layout with a page per item or the compact table for a long list, and export the photos as a ZIP of plain JPEGs when someone needs the originals.

What to check before you choose team punch list software

Whichever tools you are comparing, these questions decide whether a crew is still using it after the first month.

  • Does each person get their own sign-in on their own device, or does the team share one account?
  • Does capture work with no signal, and do the photos sync later, not just the text?
  • Can a new member start without training? Count the roles and settings they would have to learn.
  • Does the report carry your branding, in a format both the client and the trades will read?
  • Is the price on the website, and can you buy it without a sales call or a contract?
  • Can the whole crew try it first, and what happens to the data if you decide not to pay?
  • Will the invoices satisfy your accounts team: company name, VAT or tax ID, purchase orders for larger teams?
  • Do you actually need drawings, RFIs and submittals? If you do, a construction management platform is the better category.

How to start

Up and running in three steps

No call and no contract: the trial starts in the app and the subscription on the website.

1

Create your team in the app

Install Punch List on iPhone, iPad or Android, open Settings › Team, sign in with your work email and name the team. The 30-day trial for up to 5 people starts on the spot, with no card.

2

Invite the crew

Share the team's invite code. Every team project syncs between everyone, photos included, and keeps working offline on site.

3

Subscribe when you are ready

Enter the team billing code and a billing email on the PunchList Business page and pay on Stripe's checkout. The trial never turns into a paid plan by itself; if you do not subscribe, team projects become read-only and nothing is deleted.

04

When a bigger platform is the better choice

Where a focused team punch list fits

General contractors, fit-out and renovation firms, inspectors and property teams whose job is to find what is wrong, get it to the right person and hand over a clean report, with a crew that should not need training to start.

Where it does not

PunchList has no drawings or plan pinning, no RFIs or submittals, no custom forms, no integrations and no web dashboard. If punch items must sit on the drawings or connect to the rest of your project controls, a construction management platform such as Fieldwire or PlanRadar is the better fit. The comparisons linked below go through the differences.

Crews that work in more than one language

The app is localized in 39 languages and regional variants, with construction vocabulary, so each person can work in their own language on the same team projects.
